RoboCup Soccer

The RoboCup Soccer project developed by the RoboCup Federation is now introduced and offered to UCSD students by IEEE@UCSD. In a summary, it is a project about building a group of autonomous soccer robots and developing AI algorithms for them to perform various tactics on the soccer field.

Competition:

While RoboCup has many kinds of soccer-robotic competitions available, we are in particularly aiming for the RoboCup Soccer SSL (Small Size League) program. Participating students at IEEE@UCSD are encouraged to compete in a regional RoboCup Soccer SSL competition in 2020. There is also the opportunity to enter the International RoboCup Soccer SSL competition in July, 2020, if circumstances allows.
